At Connect2TC Forth Valley we believe it is possible for hurting people to completely break free from addiction and live fulfilling lives as contributing members of society.
We are a Christian charity that aims to help people who have developed life controlling problems.
We also offer preventative help to those who may be in danger of becoming addicted!
Rev Stephen Smith
Stephen has had a long-standing working relationship with Teen Challenge and The Haven. Following a 17-year business career, Stephen answered God’s call into Pastoral ministry. He and his wife returned to Scotland recently having ministered in England since 2006. Since completing a special project for Glasgow City Mission, he has recently taken up a Research & Development Consultancy role for Church of Scotland.
David has volunteered with Teen Challenge Strathclyde (TCS) for fifteen years and was on the board for five years. He has had many years involvement in various leadership roles and is currently working within social care as a compliance manager.
Stephen has been in business for 35 years and has recently semi-retired. Stephen is a Street Pastor. He has volunteered with Teen Challenge Strathclyde for 6 years.
His heart is to help the addict to be set free from their addiction.
Joan has worked in management for over twenty years and is currently working in Early years with FC and EDC. During this same period, she has been volunteering for Teen Challenge Strathclyde and in recent has become a Street Pastor and CAP Life Skills manager.
Currently works as a practice nurse in east Dunbartonshire and is married to David Currie. Mother of two and GG (grandmother) to four grandchildren. Previously volunteered with Teen Challenge Strathclyde in Kirkintilloch.
