Women's Coordinator
About Connect2
Connect2 is a Christian support charity working across Forth Valley. We walk alongside people and families affected by addiction and related life challenges with compassion, consistency, dignity, honesty and hope. Our work is relational, long-term and rooted in the belief that meaningful change often takes time, trust and safe relationships.
About the role
Connect2 is seeking a full-time Women's Coordinator to lead and develop our women's recovery pathway across Forth Valley. This is a hands-on, mobile and team-based role for someone who can meet women where they are, build trust at a safe pace, and help them take practical steps towards safety, stability, recovery and belonging.
The post-holder will lead the women-only 12-week recovery programme, but the role is wider than programme delivery. It includes responding to referrals, meeting and following up women across Forth Valley, one-to-one relational support, outreach engagement, partnership working, volunteer support, accurate recording and clear reporting of outcomes.
While the main focus of this role is women’s recovery support, the post-holder will also serve appropriately within mixed outreach settings, where both men and women may be present, working safely, respectfully and within clear boundaries as part of the wider Connect2 team.
About the Women's Recovery Pathway
The pathway is being developed around three connected stages:
Reach and trust - meeting women through referrals, outreach, community links and safe first conversations.
Structured support - offering the women-only 12-week recovery programme, one-to-one follow-up and practical next steps.
Ongoing belonging - helping women connect into safe support, recovery groups, churches, community life and appropriate services.

This role will include
Receiving, assessing and following up referrals for women across Forth Valley.
Meeting women in appropriate community settings and helping them take next steps towards safety, stability and recovery.
Leading and coordinating the women-only 12-week recovery programme.
Connecting women back into Connect2 support, including outreach, groups, one-to-one support, recovery pathways, churches and community connection where appropriate.
Serving alongside the wider Connect2 team, including some evening outreach work and volunteer-supported activity.
Building strong links with churches, local services, community partners and referral agencies.
Supporting female volunteers and helping create safe, consistent, women-only spaces.
Keeping accurate records of engagement, referrals, risks, actions and outcomes.
We are looking for someone who
Has a heart for broken, marginalised and vulnerable women.
Can build trust with women who may be isolated, fearful, guarded or not yet ready to engage with formal services.
Is compassionate, emotionally mature, reliable and able to maintain safe boundaries.
Can work across different locations, including daytime community settings and some evening outreach settings.
Has experience supporting people affected by addiction, trauma, domestic abuse, mental health pressures, homelessness, family breakdown or other complex needs.
Can facilitate groups, offer one-to-one support, follow up referrals and work well with volunteers and partner agencies.
Has an active Christian faith and is able to work in line with Connect2's Christian ethos.
